Overview

Footy Snap is a strategic card game where players compete by comparing player stats in a virtual football match. The goal is to score more goals than your opponent by winning rounds and making smart card plays.

Game Setup

• Each player starts with 5 cards in their hand
• Player 1 goes first in the first round
• Players take turns being the attacker (who chooses the stat to compare)

How to Play

1. Card Play

• On your turn, select a card from your hand to play
• The attacking player's card will be revealed first
• The defending player then responds with a card from their hand

2. Stat Selection

• The attacking player chooses which stat to compare
• Each stat can only be used once per goal
• Available stats: PAC (Pace), SHO (Shooting), PAS (Passing), DRI (Dribbling), DEF (Defending), PHY (Physical)

3. Round Resolution

• The player with the higher stat value wins the round
• If it's a tie, both players get a point
• Win 3 rounds to score a goal
• First to 1 goal wins the match

Special Card Types

Skill Stars (LEGEND, HERO, TOTY, UCL, GOAT):

• Must be matched with another Skill Stars card if possible
• Can only be played against other Skill Stars cards

AI Opponent

• Three difficulty levels: Easy, Normal, Hard
• AI will make strategic decisions based on the selected difficulty
• Higher difficulties make smarter stat choices and card plays
